Double bass will be featured in the first Music Box Concert of 2024. USU students from the studio of Professor Braun Kahn will demonstrate how this very large string instrument produces sound and how the thickness and length of the strings impacts the pitch.
The concert is free, but seating is limited. Please register by clicking "Reserve Your Concert Space Here”. You may want to bring a pillow or blanket for comfort as most of the class will be on the floor.
Music Box Concerts are 30-45 minute programs presented by the USU Music Department students and guests. They are designed to provide young children access to live music concerts and are sponsored by the Music Department in the Caine College of the Arts and the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Education Endowment.
Please acknowledge that photographs taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes. Your attendance implies your permission to be photographed.
